Spearhead the technical team to audit and measure performance and implement recommendations for upgrade and migration of current network to next generation network. Will be supporting the country's largest service provider, offering broad and comprehensive professional services that encompass the entire network lifecycle -- Consult & Design, Integrate & Deploy, as well as Operate & Maintain along with ZTE corporation. The Transmission Network Expert will work with the NGN Project team a well as consultants and will be responsible for :

• Testing, commissioning and fault isolation of circuits at various transmission rates
• Operations and Maintenance of SDH, CWDM & DWDM transmission equipment, including Siemens, Alcatel-Lucent, CTIT & ZTE.
• Optical fiber cable fault repair activities in coordination with cable ship and other CLS
• Implementation of new projects based on SOW, LLD and provides necessary support in successful execution of new projects.
  
  

Must possess

• Proficiency in International SDH/SONET digital hierarchy is required from fractional T1/E1 to 10G/OC192/STM64 circuit level including the use of test sets and knowledge of fiber handling / cleaning techniques.
• In-depth technical knowledge of optical layer 1 transport systems, OTN, ROADM, SONET/SDH, cross connect switching and signal grooming, as well as, knowledge of ring and mesh network topologies.
• Expert knowledge of carrier-class networking architecture, including the following technologies: DWDM, SONET/SDH, IP/MPLS/Ethernet, SNMP and TL1.
• Experience with routing and signaling protocols, control plane technologies including ASON, GMPLS required.
• Solid understanding of complex transport system hardware and software architectures.
• Minimum of 7 years relevant experience
• Excellent presentation Skill for senior Executive, positive customer service attitude and strong communication
• Highly motivated with the ability to operate without direct supervision.
